11 Aug Pantone colour for 2017: Greenery
Pantone is a system for matching colours, used in specifying printing inks, and a huge help when designing interior colour schemes. Every year Pantone forecast a colour for the year and for 2017 ‘Greenery’ has been nominated.
Greenery is described as a fresh and zesty yellow-green shade that evokes the first days of spring when nature’s greens revive, restore and renew. If you’ve been out and about this weekend I’m sure you’ll agree with this description! Happily, this is my favourite colour, and it’s easy to put a scheme together from the wide variety of fabrics I can offer. Have a look at Ian Mankin’s take:
